The Art of Hosting Transformational Leadership

I am very happy to be part of the Art of Hosting community. We have all been trained in “the art of hosting meaningful conversations”. Most of the people use these skills in their work – from youth, health care, government and so many more areas where talking to each other and building a collective field, like we do in our One Global Bridge community, is key. And where do we not need to talk to one another again?
Toke Paludan Møller is one of my friends and colleagues. We are working on the Inner Climate Learning Villages together. He, Monica Nissén and Phil Cass – all experts in hosting the Art of Hosting training – are conducting a weekend in Transformational Leadership for ALIA, Authentic Leadership in Action, January 10-16 in the Netherlands . These are so much more than a ‘training’. They are transformational experiences that often create deep friendships and changes your perspective on how to live life.
Here are some words from the site:
In today’s chaotic, unpredictable environments, we are being called to embrace paradox and engage multiple styles of leading. We must know how to generate collective intelligence – how to call on everyone’s participation and leadership, and how to work towards a shared clarity of purpose. At the same time we are asked to exercise hierarchical leadership. We are accountable to our stakeholders and must take decisive action for the sake of the common good. Learning how to stand in this paradox, and how to navigate the territory between too much chaos and too much control, is the key to hosting transformational change.
In this module we will practice staying focused and centered in the midst of chaos. We will gain frameworks and skills for hosting conversations that matter, for inviting collaborative leadership, and for generating collective intelligence. To read more or to register, click here.
If you can get to it, that would be great. If not, check out the Art of Hosting website and see what other training opportunities there are.
