Meet Lisa

My name is Lisa Abby. I am the founder of the One Global Bridge Community and your host here. Welcome!

I began creating communities at age 15. I wanted a youth group in my Temple. So I started one. The same thing happened when I returned from living in Japan for five years. I missed the stimulation and support of being with my international friends, so I started a club in the New York region called International Friends Club.

My passion has always been the deep exploration of who we truly are as human beings and how that serves us in the areas of personal, professional and planetary transformation. I completed many studies in traditional and transpersonal psychology, creative expression, performing arts, human potential and global business leadership skills.

I owned my own corporate cross-cultural consulting firm where my colleagues and I worked with global executives and their families as they transitioned from one country to another – helping them understand how to work and live successfully in a world that was completely unknown and where all their known methods of operating were unavailable.

That work led me into the world of transformational living and leadership. Many of us in this field feel an excitement and urgency to approach life and today’s most pressing challenges from a whole new perspective. Connecting in conversations that matter keeps us energized and grounded as we traverse these new ways of being together.

One Global Bridge incorporates all that.

The way I discover my own inner strength is through creative expression. Over the years I have had the good fortune to meet many excellent practitioners in the field of global leadership development. I am very pleased to introduce you to their work here as well.
