The UN Climate Summit is happening here in Copenhagen. The big march was yesterday and although I was not in it personally, I know from friends who were there, that, except for 300 people who came as a group to stir up trouble, it was peaceful for the most part. That says a lot for how much we have progressed, I believe. Protest in anger begets more angry responses. How will the voice of the people affect those inside the UN negotiations? We don’t know. But I am happy to be here engaged in meaningful conversations.
